Mysuru, Jan 9 (India News)

The City of Palaces will soon get air connectivity to Belagavi, Goa, Cochin and Bengaluru under UDAN Scheme.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Lok Sabha member Pratap Simha said the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation has given approval for operating six additional flights from Mysuru under the third phase of Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN), the Centre’s regional connectivity scheme.

The new flights approved by the Ministry are on the Mysuru-Belagavi, Mysuru-Goa, Mysuru-Cochin, Mysuru-Bengaluru, and Mysuru-Hyderabad (two flights) sectors.

This will help the city on the economic as well as tourism front, Mr Simha added.
